The twelfth film in the James Bond series, EON Productions For Your Eyes Only saw a return to earth with a more realistic and less sensational storyline after the extravagance of Moonraker. In Roger Moore's fifth outing as 007, he attempts to recover a top-secret British encryption device capable of controlling the British submarine fleet. Bill Gold's iconic "legs" design, featuring Bond between the long legs of a crossbow-toting babe, was used throughout the global advertising campaign for the film and has become one of the most recognisable Moore era Bond images. Some more conservative US states superimposed denim shorts on to the Bond girl's bottom in response to the amount of bare flesh on display.
Condition
Very good (B+)
Unfolded, not backed. Minor nicks and creases to corners and edges. The poster was pressed lightly when rolled, leaving light horizontal creases at regular intervals throughout the poster, not full length. Light full length crease along upper edge. A small (1 in.) semi-circle of clear tape to right edge. Slight darkening to edges. Spots of printer's ink residue to upper and lower edges. Image and colours otherwise excellent.
