Steven Spielberg's timeless tearjerking tale of a young boy's friendship with a stranded extraterrestrial was both widely critically acclaimed and enormously commercially successful, outperforming Star Wars to become the highest-grossing film of all time until Spielberg surpassed himself with Jurassic Park in 1993. This Japanese B2 poster features a combination of the 'clouds' style artwork seen on the advance US One Sheet and John Alvin's 'fingers touching' artwork as used on the theatrical release US One Sheet.

Very good (B+)
Unfolded, not backed. Handling shells, some creasing and a few fine surface blemishes to high gloss surface. Minor bumps to corners. Light undulation from being very softly tri-folded at one time. Light staining to lower edge verso, which is not visible recto. Image and colours otherwise excellent.
