A rare progressive printer's proof for a poster designed by Randy Tuten and William Bostedt for Fleetwood Mac's performance at the Oakland Coliseum in California on 7th May 1977. Bill Graham's Day on the Green concerts were the first prototypes of "festival" shows - multi performer sets in stadium settings. Staged on the lawn of the Oakland Coliseum, the Day on the Green concerts were a summer series started in 1973 that continued until shortly after Graham's death in 1991.
A progressive proof is a pre-press set of colour proofs showing each colour of the design to be printed separately or in successive stages from first colour to finished print. This hot pink proof has been signed in black marker pen to the lower margin by the artist Randy Tuten and William Bostedt.
