A sultry Brigitte Bardot sizzles on this striking stone lithography poster for the French screwball rom-com La Bride sur le cou, released in Australia and the UK as Please, Not Now! and in the US as Only For Love. Billed as the most exciting woman in the world, Bardot starred as the saucy young model who enlists a handsome doctor in a zany plan to make her boyfriend jealous when he goes off with an American heiress. Directed by Bardot's former husband Roger Vadim, the film featured a risqué dance sequence by Bardot in a 'nude' body stocking.

Conservation backed on linen with no restoration. Backing has smoothed the standard two horizontal machine folds so that they are virtually invisible. Tiny chip to tip of lower right corner. Slight darkening to left edge. Image and colours excellent.
