A striking day-glo silkscreen concert poster for the All Night Garden Party headlined by Pink Floyd at Queen's Hall in Leeds on Friday 17th November 1967. Pink Floyd appeared at this event after playing at the City (Oval) Hall in Sheffield as part of their UK package tour with the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Dating from the early days of Pink Floyd before they dropped the 'The', the band at this time still comprised founding members Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Richard Wright. Their debut album, 'The Piper at the Gates of Dawn', had been released only three months prior, following up on their chart success with the singles 'Arnold Layne' and 'See Emily Play.' Guitarist David Gilmour would join the band as a fifth member in December to compensate for Barrett's deteriorating mental health, which ultimately led to his exit the following March. The line-up for the All Night Garden Party also included the Warren Davis Monday Band, Ivan's Jaguars, the J.B.'s, the Roll Movement, the Screen, the Peighton Checks, the Syndicate, Roger Bloom's Hammer and BBC DJ Dave Cash. Note the misprinted line 'From 8 A.M. Till Dawn', which should have read '8 P.M.' There is a variation of this poster with a small paper snipe with 'P.M.' glued over 'A.M.'
